The First Night in Brooklyn
Well - overall - he was pretty good. Definitely could have been worse for a little guy separated from his family. I think I managed 5 hours of sleep if I was lucky.
I kept him in his crate most of the evening, but he had been apprehensive about eating all day long, and I woke to what sounded like a coughing up sound, to find his stomach rumbling pretty loudly. I let him out to find some food -...

Thanks for all your feedback and suggestions. Franklin seemed to receive the most positive overall response. And it was always one of my favorites!
We’ll be taking a two hour road trip with our friend Larry (thanks!) up-state, towards Middleton, to pick up little Franklin. It should prove to be a beautiful ride and momentous day. A simulatenously exciting and anxious feeling is sinking in.
